Yes, it's that time again....to bump up your walking minutes to stay on track with your training:
45 minutes each for 4 days and one 90 minute walk for 10K
30 minutes each for 4 days and one 60 minute walk for 5K
It's only 13 days until race day!
Just remember:

You can't look like this.....
Unless you are willing to do this
(OK, maybe that's a stretch, but exercise all the same!) |
Go Team MNM....Theresa, Sheila, Donna, Debra, Denise, Br. Bill, Michelle, Sandy, Larry, Mari Beth, Sue C., Nick, Susan, Monica, Michelle, Chavon, Katie, and Sue P. Sr. Louise, Kathy D., Sr. Sally and Br. Bob are virtual racers racking up the training miles but unable to join that day.
Blessings,
Sue
Glad you had a safe trip and kept up with your training sessions. Larry and I were down in the Smokies for a long weekend getaway and enjoyed hiking Friday and Saturday. We got winded easily at the higher elevations and were disappointed with that, so we choose easier hikes on creek trails. We hiked over 11 miles in the two days, but only had one hour-long sustained hike. Took too many pics and stopped too much other than that. But we kept active and enjoyed God's creation, and came back refreshed.
ReplyDeleteHello out there in Team MNM land!!! Are you still training each day and growing closer to your healthy goals? Sue--haven't heard from you in a few days . . . hope you are just busy with things but still finding time for your workouts. Larry and I have missed a day or two but still are trying to increase our endurance for power walking. I would love to finish the 5K with a decent time; between 40 and 45 minutes would be great at this point!
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy Easter and keep following in Jesus's footsteps--the original power walker!
